Bailee {Doodle Puppy} | 1st Birthday

Meet Bailee.

She's a Doodle Puppy who just turned 1 this year!

She is very loved by her mama.  Bailee has had a few medical issues this year and Courtney (Bailee's mom!) wanted to make sure she captured Bailee... because she just wasn't sure how much time she will have with her!  

I was so excited.. and nervous for this shoot.  I do have to say photographing a dog is hard... they don't take direction very well haha

But Bailee was such a good girl and I got some really great shots of her!

Courtney loves Bailee's long eyelashes, so I wanted to make sure I captured this small but yet very important detail for her!

Then we took a few fun Christmas photos!

Bailee had fun showing me her Christmas stocking too...

What a pretty girl she is!

Family Christmas Session

Four years ago I got to photograph Erin and Bryan's wedding at Amber Grove, and I was so excited to be able to go back to shoot their Christmas pictures there this year! 

Here are a few of my favorites from their session.

We had a friend follow us around the whole time.... meet Chester, the cat at Amber Grove!

Carlie | Brand New

Oh how i love taking pictures of precious little babies!  Don't get me wrong it's probably the hardest kind of photo shoot for me.... but I still love capturing these brand new people!

It always seems to happen for my newborn sessions.  I have the location nice and warm, tummy is full (the baby's that is) and all is right!

Until....

I start taking pictures haha

Baby always ends up, eyes wide open... and basically, just not havin' it!

Even so I still got some great shots of little Carlie.

Baby hands and feet are my favorite!!

After much rocking and cuddling with mom... Carlie finally went to sleep and we were able to get a few in with some "props" 

=)

Oh she just melts my heart! Look at that little face.

Marsh Wedding 11.10.12

You will recognize this cute couple from their country engagement session in September.  

I was honored to be shooting their wedding this November, and at the same gorgeous location as their engagement session in Port Republic VA.

They had gorgeous weather... a perfect day really!  Danielle was such a gorgeous bride and her wedding was so well put together... it was so thoughtful with all of her little touches.

I wanted to share a few of my favorites from Danielle and Joel's wedding day...

A few getting ready; the bride calm as could be!

As the bride finished getting ready a took a few pictures of her dress and some details of her ceremony.

And I got a few of the boys as well!

Then it was the girls' turn...

Danielle's portraits were next, and she was just breathtaking.... and I was able to get her up onto the horse that was in their engagement photos!!

I had to include a few from the ceremony... and my favorite part was watching Joel's face as he saw his soon to be wife walk down the aisle towards him!

And I will end it with a few of Danielle and Joel's portraits, before they headed off to their reception to celebrate!

I am so blessed that I got to be a part of such a beautiful wedding and get to know such wonderful people <3
