Zoo Adventures!

Last weekend Mady and I decided to take the afternoon and visit the zoo!  It was a little warm, and we had to hide from the rain once, or twice but we had a blast looking at all the fun animals at the Richmond Metro Zoo!  Mady was super excited to go on our animal adventure...

When we got there we sat to have a quick snack and plan out which animals we would see first.

Then we stopped for a little break before feeding the Giraffe.

Of course it decided to down pour so we hung out with the giraffe... even the peacock hung with us to get out of the rain.

Once the sun peaked back through the clouds we headed to the aviary to play with the birds. 

We ended our trip with a few more animals...

Mady and I had such a fun afternoon!  I can't wait until our next adventure...

Beautiful Afternoon with my Girl

March 1st.... can you believe it?!  Thank you March for starting off with some pretty awesome weather =)

On the down side... my little munchkin was not feeling well today!  I got to stay home with her and enjoy the sunshine after a doctor's appointment (which revealed that she has really bad allergies!).  We sat on the back porch for a picnic lunch and I was able to capture her feeling a little better than she had this morning!

My little princess, always has a bow in her hair.... even when she's not feeling her best!

She was thinking about the Dora snack I promised her if she finished her lunch and took some pictures with mommy!

I love this kids eyelashes... wish mine were this long.

Then came the silly pictures with mommy!  These were very hard to take with my DSLR (and having short arms didn't help either!) but I still love them!!

Hope everyone gets the chance to enjoy this perfect day!  Too bad I have to go back to work tomorrow...

Happy Valentine's Day

I hope everyone enjoyed their Valentine's day with someone special!  I was lucky enough to be off of work today and got to spend it with my daughter Mady.  I ended the day with finishing my Valentine Mini Session pictures and wanted to post a few that I just loved... and thought might warm your heart a bit as well.

First was baby Lanie.... how cute is she?!

And then little Kenzie, who I photographed last year in October for her 2nd Birthday... so glad I got to work with her again!!
