Baby it's cold outside...

One of my new second shooters, Cate, and I had been planning a fun photo filled morning for a couple weeks.  We wanted a chance to work together and exchange services to take some couples pictures for each other.... since we both don't have very many pictures of us and our significant others (ya know seeing as we are always behind the cameras).

We decided to go down to Libby Hill park in Richmond.  What we weren't prepared for was how cold it would be....

I'm not even sure cold is even the right word for it.  It was frigid.... the wind just cut right through you.  So our little photo session only lasted about 30 minutes.

Even so I was able to get some really great pictures of Cate and her boyfriend Neal!

Valentine Minis | 2013

I have been a busy bee tonight... preparing all of my daughter's Valentine's Day things for her party at school tomorrow.  

I waited until the last minute but I was able to make all of her Valentines and cut up some fruit (into heart shapes) for her class....

Yes I was being a Pinterest mom tonight!

I also wanted to share some of my favorites from my Valentine Mini Sessions from this past weekend.

First I got to have fun running around with sisters Kendall and Ashton.

Talbott Wedding 12.8.12

It was a warm December day in Richmond VA on Monument Avenue.

Katie and Josh's big day was finally here... and I was so excited to be a part of it!!

Katie looked so beautiful!! While she finished getting herself ready I captured a few details.

We had some more time before the ceremony, so we went outside to get a few pictures with the bridesmaids and a few more portraits for the bride...
