Capturing this cute couple was so much fun and I am so excited to be a part of the wedding on August 4th 2012!
Kate and I met for coffee one day to discuss her wedding and all the details... during our talk I found out she herself was starting her photography business, so pictures were very important to her! We talked about where she would want to take their engagement pictures as well. Kate knew what she wanted... it was a grassy field (which I love). I knew the perfect one right off of courthouse road... it was a huge field full of this golden colored grass and I knew it would be perfect. I was so excited at how great the pictures from the field came out... although the process wasn't the easiest!! Unbeknownst to be, this field was full of.... PRICKERS. I felt so bad for Kate, her legs were all scratched... but she was dedicated and I'm so glad because the result was exactly what she had hoped for!

After almost 45 minutes of prickers (ouch!), we found another little field nearby... thankfully, yes you guessed it, pricker free!!
This next one reminds me of something out of twilight <3
Then we had some outfit changes...
I love Kate's ring... it's so unique!
