Marsh Wedding 11.10.12

You will recognize this cute couple from their country engagement session in September.  

I was honored to be shooting their wedding this November, and at the same gorgeous location as their engagement session in Port Republic VA.

They had gorgeous weather... a perfect day really!  Danielle was such a gorgeous bride and her wedding was so well put together... it was so thoughtful with all of her little touches.

I wanted to share a few of my favorites from Danielle and Joel's wedding day...

As the bride finished getting ready a took a few pictures of her dress and some details of her ceremony.

And I got a few of the boys as well!

Then it was the girls' turn...

Danielle's portraits were next, and she was just breathtaking.... and I was able to get her up onto the horse that was in their engagement photos!!

I had to include a few from the ceremony... and my favorite part was watching Joel's face as he saw his soon to be wife walk down the aisle towards him!

And I will end it with a few of Danielle and Joel's portraits, before they headed off to their reception to celebrate!

I am so blessed that I got to be a part of such a beautiful wedding and get to know such wonderful people <3

Heaven received some Angels today!

Today was such a tragic day.  

Today made me wonder about the world and the people in it.  How could someone do something like that... the only answer I have is that he has no soul!

How could God let something like this happen?  I have to believe he has a reason!  He had bigger plans for those who lost their lives to such violence...

I cried thinking about all of those innocent babies who were taken from this world way too soon.  I think about how frightened they must have been...

Heaven received some angels today.... some that were taken too early!

My daughter had a Christmas play at school today, and I was so glad when I got to wrap my arms around her this afternoon.  I shed a couple of tears, and whispered to her how much I loved her!  She asked me why I was crying.... she's too young to know the truth, so I simply told her because I was so  happy to see her and sometimes you cry when your happy!

I have a candle lit tonight for those who lost their lives today.  These pictures show the candle and also an angel my mom had gotten me after I had Mady!  This angel means more to me now than it ever has, and I am placing it by my bed from now on so that I can look at it every night and thank God I have my baby girl still with me... and how blessed I am that she is safe.

My heart and prayers go out to the families and that community tonight.  

Let's all just remember how precious life is and how easily it can be taken from us <3

I love you my sweet little baby!  And to my family and friends, I love you... and I'm glad we are all safe tonight!

My little Christmas Angel

My daughter is probably the hardest child for me to take pictures of!  She hates that I have the camera in her face all the time.... but I just can't help myself!!

I was lucky enough to get a few of her for Christmas before she was "over it".

So here they are!

These next two pictures, pretty much, sum up my daughter perfectly! (and that's probably why they are my favorites out of all of these hehe)

Mady has her moments... I mean what 3 1/2 year old doesn't, but I love her to pieces and couldn't imagine my life without her!!
