Samantha & Robert | Engaged

Super excited to show these... I was up all night editing, I just couldn't help myself!!

Years ago I used to dance with Samantha, and when she contacted me about photographing her wedding I was thrilled.... and didn't hesitate one second to say yes!  She told me that her and Robert loved the beach, so I knew exactly where to take them for their engagement pictures.  

We headed to Yorktown beach... it has been one of my favorite places to go because it's only a little over an hours drive for me and such a beautiful little beach.  I'm so glad I took them there because they had never heard about it, and they now have a new place to come enjoy the beach and remember the day they took their engagement pictures!

I met them there in the late afternoon... knowing the sunlight would be gorgeous!  I had never met Robert before so I was excited to finally meet him.  One of the first things he told me was that after Samantha had woken up in the car on the drive there she had said "I wonder if they have ice cream there".... i laughed and said don't worry there is ice cream!  So we started down to the beach for some pictures...

These two were so full of love for each other and were so easy to shoot!

We took a couple of pictures on the pier...

Back onto the beach!  

And it got a little silly...

So then I made them climb up onto some rocks... and they "rocked" it! 

=)

We decided to start heading back down the street so Samantha could have her ice cream and we found a few more spots to grab a couple more pictures on the way.

Finally it was ice cream time!!

I had so much fun with this session.  I can't wait to watch you guys walk down the aisle!
